Mr. Tony Leung was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer

JMC Capital Group announced on June 5, 2023,the appointment of Mr. Tony Leung as Chief Executive Officer of JMC Capital Group. Mr. Leung will be responsible for leading the core business and operations in Hong Kong, ensuring the provision of professional and standardized asset management services.

Mr. Leung graduated from Simon Fraser University in Canada. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a CIPM certificant. He also was a member of the Cash Market Consultative Panel appointed by HK Exchanges and Clearing Limited while he was also sitting in the Investment Performance and Risk Committee of The CFA Society Hong Kong. In addition, he was an advisor and question writer of the CFA Institute supporting the CIPM Examination Review Panel. He has spoken at several conferences on Investment Risk and Performance in the region.

With more than 30 years of experience in banking and financial industries, Mr. Leung is responsible for leading the core business and operations in Hong Kong.Mr. Leung joined JMC Capital Group in 2023 from at Shenwan Hongyuan (H.K.) Limited, where he served as a managing director and Chief of Wealth Management in the firm's Wealth Management Group.  Prior to Shenwan Hongyuan (H.K.) Limited, Mr. Leung was Chief Executive Officer of CITIC Securities Brokerage (HK) Limited/CITIC Securities Futures (HK) Limited and a member of the CLSA Group Executive Committee. He also held various senior positions at CITIC Securities International, namely Chief Operating officer and Head of Risk Management.

Mr. Tony Leung stated that he will focus on JMC Capital Group's core business, improve the company's execution capability and efficiency, and enhance talent development and management, laying a solid foundation for the company's long-term development.
